Job Description
We are seeking for a Mental Health Technician to join our team and collaborate with doctors to assess patients’ well-being and support patients by generating reports and other documentation. The responsibilities of a Mental Health Technician encompass closely observing patients, communicating updates on their mood, and providing assistance with patient transportation when necessary. Ultimately, you will work directly with patients throughout the day to provide doctors with supervision and assistance while they are in our healthcare center.

- Provide assistance to healthcare workers in hospitals and private organizations.
- Ensure patient comfort during and between treatments.
- Use individual abilities to bathe, dress, and/or feed patients.
Principal Responsibilities
- Keep track of any behavioral changes in patients that can be useful to healthcare providers.
- Record patient observations in accordance with the processes and criteria established.
- Take part in the design and implementation of patient treatment plans.
- Maintain patient record confidentiality.
- As needed, transport patients to and from appointments, clinics, laboratories, and/or therapies.
- Perform initial patient assessments to define treatment priorities, such as vital signs, weight, and urine, stool, and sputum specimens.
Qualifications and Abilities
- Work experience as a Mental Health Technician or in a related position is required.
- When assisting stressed patients, the ability to remain professional and respectful is required.
- Flexibility in working hours.
