We are seeking a Medical-Surgical Nurse to become a valuable member of our team, delivering top-notch medical care to patients both before and during their surgical procedures at our facility. The duties of a Medical-Surgical Nurse include keeping track of patients’ medical histories, delivering medication, and monitoring vital signs. In the end, you will collaborate closely with patients both before and following their surgical treatment in our facility to guarantee they receive the care they require.

The following are the responsibilities of a Medical Surgical Nurse:

  • Developing, executing, reviewing and assessing patient care plans while consulting medical specialists.
  • Assessing medical data and giving pre- and post-operative patients direct, personalized bedside nursing care.
  • Preparing, giving, and keeping track of prescription drugs.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Start IVs, change dressings and implant catheters.
  • As necessary, make adjustments to specialist medical equipment and evaluate and document measurements.
  • Keep an eye on patients’ vitals and promptly report any negative drug responses.
  • Plan your discharge along with the medical staff.
  • Respond to inquiries, inform patients and their families about surgical techniques, and provide post-surgery care.
